The Bread and Butter Thing

Updated: Nov 6

Affordable food charity The Bread and Butter Thing (TBBT) is supporting families across North Staffordshire.

The charity launched its first hub in the West Midlands on Tuesday 26th September 2023 at the New Bentilee Family Hub (formally The Treehouse). Twelve months on and the Family hubs at Chell Heath and Westfield Centre in Normacot have become TBBT hubs to support local families with the cost of living and reduce food bills.

How it works

Its free to join and you get three bags of food for £8.50. The bags are made up of fruit, veg, fridge favourites and cupboard staples from supermarkets, food manufacturer's and farmers. Larger orders are available. Larger families can order more. Click on the link below for more details.
